25 Years of Partnership—Reunion in Adversity | Strategic Win-Win Collaboration with U.S. HVAC Giant Diversitech

Diversitech is the largest supplier of air-conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment in the United States, and was our company’s first U.S. customer.

The two parties established a business relationship when Changzhou Baojie Motor Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001, and have maintained a strong cooperative partnership for 25 years to date. In 2017, due to Trump-era tariffs, the customer’s procurement costs surged dramatically, forcing Diversitech to suspend orders for motors from our company in 2018 and instead source from factories in India and Mexico.

Between 2018 and 2023, they encountered numerous challenges; ultimately, issues such as poor product quality from Indian manufacturers and delivery delays from Mexican suppliers led them to recontact our company in 2023 to discuss cooperation. Based on the longstanding good collaboration and mutual trust between the two sides, our company conducted meticulous optimization of the motor design, tailored to the characteristics of the U.S. market and user needs, enhancing performance while reducing costs.

The newly designed motor has been extremely well received in the U.S. market, with sales steadily increasing and customers highly satisfied. Our company and Diversitech have achieved a win-win outcome and established a strategic partnership.
